kikin is old school
closest I ever got to the classic Chucks which, now I'm clueless as to why since off-white sneakers paired with a boxy denim jacket embodies true 90's retro style. And to say that I have a penchant for this era's movement and not own at least the very basics? Yes, eye-rolls... go ahead and judge. I'm guilty as ashamed. But at least I kind of do now, don't I? (thanks G by Guess!) Anyway, I digress. Despite a little chill late in the evenings and the early mornings that I get up for work, it's safe to say that Spring has just about sprung. Am I...

♥ ♥ ♥ I fell in love with this shirt because of its colour. It matches the weather and the coat perfectly. I wore it for our short interview in Metropl TV. Check it out here! FACEBOOK / TWITTER / BLOGLOVIN' / ASK.FM

CHARLIE MAY jacket ZARA shirt COS trousers ALEXANDER WANG 'Edie' pumps NOEMI KLEIN rings It took a while, but I’m following up on the promise I made in this post to take a closer look at my newest Charlie May jacket. As the title indicates, I don’t really know how to define this extraordinary piece, but maybe that’s the beauty of it. Meet my blazer/biker, where best of both world unite to compliment my large selection crop tops. My affection of red nails has turned me into a little bit of a lady, and I’m staring to crave high-wasted jeans again. No fear though, as it seems like I have the ideal upper half sorted. Plaid Moto Dreams
I’ve been looking for the perfect zippered moto skirt for literally a year now with no luck. If you’re like me and you have an…um…”healthy” bottom half, you know how tricky it is to find leather/leather-look bottoms that fit right. Lo and behold, this utterly perfect Forever 21 number found me yesterday while shopping. Not too short, not too tight, and some cool fabric cross-over/badass zipper hardware action. And this is my my new Acne - looking Asos coat! I’m obsessed. I feel like the chic-est wannabe Swedish person ever in its oversized faux leather faux shearling goodness. And hi – I’m wearing r-e-d! This is literally the only time you will ever see me in red. My irrational fear of colour is exemplified in red. I legitimately do not remember the last time I owned a piece of red clothing. But somehow, I’m weirdly drawn to red plaid. I think it’s because of an Instagram...
eye see you
Donning a back-to-basics sort-of outfit with skinny jeans, black and white top, and sneakers. What finished the whole look? This Kenzo x New Era cap of course. Nothing beats a pop of red to an overall monochromatic outfit. Penguin and I impulsively purchased each our own, a few days ago when we passed by the Kenzo shop at Four Seasons. Couldn't help it. These caps sell out fast and it's only the second time we were able to find stocks available since the fall'12 collection. Lucky find. Anyway... It's finally cold! Well, I don't like the extremes but what we're having right now? Perfect for my taste! I'm so excited to bring out my jackets, and layer layer layer. I don't know, I really just love the cooler seasons. It makes me giddy. Maybe because it has always reminded me of festivities and the holidays. And of course it always...
neon beanie
beanie, coat - H&M, shirt - Votočvohoz, jeans - Levi's, bag - VJstyle ♥♥♥ Neon beanie is quite funny accessory. I wore it yesterday with this coat I pulled out of the back of our closet. A car was honking at me and a random girl surprised me with words "Cool beanie!" and so on. Well, I guess it's still not normal to shine your way through the city. super hero
Well I had to title the post that way because that's exactly how I feel in this cape. Black velvet cape: Vintage. Similars from Romwe, Mary Jane, Stella McCartney & Mango. Faux leather motor skinnies: Zara. Shoes: Theyskens Theory. Clutch: Jerome Dreyfuss. Try one of these. Wool jumper: Second hand shop (thrift). Takes everything to not want to do like I did as a kid and 'fly' with arms outstretched under a coat that was buttoned at the neck only. Ahhh those were the days. Who would've thought that the same cape love would've translated to this find now? It's basically the grown up version of childhood memories really. More pics of this cape two years ago with leopard boots here. ps. I'm back from New Orleans! I arrived last night and have loads of photos to share with you lot soon. You can see some pictures from there on...

Nordstrom Tee; Target Leather Jacket; Forever 21 Scarf (similar) & Pumps (similar); AE Jeans; Deux Lux Satchel via Barney’s Warehouse; Fossil Stella Watch; Topshop & Gorjana Rings I may be wearing this scarf a little too often lately—it’s enormous and cozy and I can’t get enough of that in this weather! I did add “oversized scarves” to my list of pieces to keep an eye out for. Especially in a chilly office, a scarf makes all the difference. After work, though, I’m thinking about braving the cold and making my way into the city again for this. I’ll be sure to share any great finds on my Instagram! faux fur
(Faux-fur coat c/o Next, Pearl-studded circle sunglasses c/o zeroUV, Embellished slit dress c/o Thea by Thara, Fur court heels c/o Choies, Lucite clear box clutch - similar here and here) I might've taken my fur obsession a tad too far. For the dawn-to-dusk look, I sparingly dusted pearls and jewels to dress up this particular nightgown-like slip, and smeared fresh blood on my lips. Fur on fur (all faux, mind you) really does make an intriguing pair, no? One exam left, hust

dress| jcrew top| jcrew(40% off sale!) bow tie| asos booties| dvf(last worn here) I can't believe that I was actually able to wear this outfit last week, because the cold weather has hit and hit hard here in VA(high of 42 yesterday = brrrr). I also can not tell you how long it took me to finally find and pull the trigger on a lady bowtie. When I found this one from ASOS I knew I had to scoop it up. It's a little quirky but I think it will be a versatile piece to throw some intrigue into any boring ol' outfit. So let's see how many ways I can incorporate this baby into my everyday wear. I hope you're all having a fabulous week of chilly fall weather :) So I'm not sure if many of you know, but I love the whole "borrowed from the boys" look, and I often find myself drawn to many menswear inspired pieces. Well, today I literally borrowed from the boys with this adorable t-shirt from the boys section at Aéropostale. I literally died when I saw it and had to have it because who doesn't love a shirt with a bow-tie printed...
cloaked in robes made of many friends
I am really pained as these chillier days start rolling in.. I just want to wear knee highs and little plaid dresses all of the time.. not thick tights and big coats! Err. Anyways, this amazingly, adorable plaid dress with a black velvet peter pan collar is from Motel Rocks and it’s SUCH a cute dress. Motel is a brand I personally really love for when you’re having 90′s days and this dress perfectly fits that moment. Then I recently received this tiny little vintage purse from Gypsy Warriors vintage collection by Nicole Alyse that’s Clueless inspired and I couldn’t not wear these two things together… I mean c’mon. Stay warm as these cold days do keep coming! The mallard sweater.
I wanted to cry when I found this duck sweater at Crossroads. Literally wanted to shed a little tear of joy. Who didn’t want this anymore?! That’s ok, my gain. But really lately I have been a sucker for sweaters with animals on them. I noticed they are also very popular amongst blog readers, is it just because they’re so adorable? I have so many now! And I can’t stop. It definitely brightens my day when I look down and see an animal on my sweater. This is the final look that I did for the Crossroads Trading look book. I think it came out so lovely! Noelle and I worked very hard to make the looks each different and unique. This one might be my favorite because it is very much my style yet something seems fresh about it. Be sure to check out your local Crossroads Trading for...
white on white
Vince Seamed V Sweater | Zara White Jeans | Pour La Victoire Sandals | Rebecca Minkoff MAC I love white but I usually try not to wear it often because I'm scared that it will get dirty often but I love the look of an all white outfit. It's just so clean and crisp, and I get to play around with colors for my accessories--which I opted for a bright orange Rebecca Minkoff MAC and blue snakeprint Pour La Victoire heels. P.S. I'm loving all of the leaves on the ground. I think Fall is one of the prettiest seasons...I wish people would stop raking them in garbage bags and throwing them away!!
rainy day
What I’m Wearing: Audrey Leighton Saint Germain Raincoat, Audrey Leighton Black Kessinger Ruffle Dress, Zara Loafers & ASOS Pompom Hat Well girls, Paris is rainy – again and again and again. That’s winter in Europe, I guess. I’m not a fan of the rain – in fact, if its raining on a Friday night, I refuse to go out. Rain makes me want to hide away inside with a good book in my pyjamas. Which is precisely why I set about designing my ultimate raincoat – I’ve been looking for a transparent one for years and years. I love how I can showcase whatever I’m wearing underneath, preventing the nasty weather from sabotaging my desire to dress up. And check out the huge pockets – you can literally put the entire contents of your handbag in these babies – and because they are so deep, totally waterproof! If you want your...
short skirt
I purchased this plaid skirt a million years ago at Screaming Mimi’s, a legendary vintage boutique in New York that’s a must-visit when I’m in the city. It’s survived countless closet clean-outs because I love the shape and bright colors. High-waisted plaid skirts are back with a vengeance, so I dusted this one off and styled it with a cropped sweater and structured blazer. I like showing that sliver of skin that’s set to become an even bigger trend this spring (clearly). There’s something major about a jacket hitting almost exactly where a miniskirt ends. Why else would there be a song about it? Vintage wool plaid skirt (similar style here and here), Rehab cropped sweater (on sale!; similar style in white here; previously worn by me here), Theory blazer (similar style here; inexpensive alternative here), Theyskens Theory ankle boots (similar style here), Moda Luxe Braxton clutch (still out of stock—similar style here) and vintage gold link necklace (similar style here and here). The post Short Skirt, Long(ish)...
OOTD : Fullfashion
Versace faux fur jacket embroidered cat top c/o Tide She American Apparel chiffon circle skirt moon ring c/o Shop Lately shoes from Ali Express I've had these kitty ears for ages and have only just worn them now. They always felt a bit too costume-y, but after seeing other bloggers style them into everyday looks I thought I would give it a go. And they obviously went with the theme of the shirt, so I had to do it.

Summer might be over but don't put away your floral dresses just yet! You can layer a cute blouse underneath a dress to bear the cold weather just like how I've done here. This floral dress by Darling is truly darling, how appropriate! I love that dusty grayish lavender with the purple, coral, and mustard! Muted floral print is perfect for fall. I layered a sheer beige blouse with double collars underneath and accessorized with a vintage gray leather belt. Lastly, I brought out the warmer tones of the dress with a lovely tassel tote from Handbag Heaven and these go-with-absolutely-everything leather pumps by Swedish Hasbeens. On a slightly different note, here's a fun fact... I can't never achieve a jumping shot but I believe I have finally mastered the spin. :) Floral chiffon dress c/o Darling. Double collared sheer chiffon blouse by MBD. Thrifted vintage gray leather belt. Tassel...

Dress c/o Ara Feel, Jacket c/o Oasap I actually received this jacket from Oasap a while back, but I'm finally posting about it today (: This jacket is super lightweight (yes, even with the spikes on it) and so it seems to be the perfect outerwear for me! It's always pretty chilly in the morn and then burning hot during the afternoon, so this jacket keeps me warm but not to the point where I'm sweating. I also really like the wash and color of it. It's a little like an acid-wash denim jacket, but not really.....oh boy, that did not make sense haha...Anyways, I paired this jacket with a super super cute patterned dress from Ara Feel. I thought the colors from the dress really matched the jacket's color nicely. Okay, besides the adorable shoes (i have never seen shoes on a dress before) pattern, I am obsessed with...
